Spare Ribs with Homemade Barbecue sauce

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a rib recipe. I thought It would be appropriate to share this quick and easy spare rib recipes with my delicious homemade barbecue sauce. I think my BBQ sauce is long over do. In my previous rib videos I’ve used store bought sauces. A lot of you may not realize how easy it is to make your own sauce, but in this video I will show you. I used only 5 ingredients to make my barbecue sauce, and it taste about 2 minutes to make. This means, you can make your own barbecue sauce, even on your busiest days .


Spare Ribs with Homemade Barbecue sauce


1 1/2 lb spare ribs

1 tsp seasoning salt.

2 tbsp olive oil

2/3 cup ketchup

1/2 cup molasses

2 tbsp red wine vinegar

1 tsp garlic salt

1 tbsp barbecue seasoning/rub.


  1. Rinse the ribs under cook water, then pat dry.
  2. Pour 2 tbsp of olive oil on the ribs, then sprinkle the seasoning salt onto the meat. Rub in.
  3. Cover and bake the ribs in the oven for 30 minutes, on 375.
  4. In a large bowl, add the ketchup, molasses, red wine vinegar, garlic salt, and barbecue seasoning.
  5. Stir the sauce, and set it a side.
  6. Remove the ribs from the oven, and brush the barbecue sauce on the ribs.
  7. Place the ribs back in the oven, but leaving them uncovered.
  8. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, then serve!
