Easy BBQ Pulled Pork Recipe

Hey sweeties! I have another recipe for you to try( are you surprised?). In this post, I want to share a easy way to make BBQ Pulled Pork. This recipe is especially for my beginners. It’s incredibly delicious, and is not that time consuming! I think you will find this recipe to be delicious on its own, or on bread. Let me know what you think!


Easy BBQ Pulled Pork Recipe


2 lbs pork picnic roast

1/2 red bell pepper, chopped

1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped

1 tsp seasoning salt

1 tsp black pepper

4 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp olive oil

1 cup of your favorite bbq sauce


  1. Rinse the meat under cool water then pat dry.
  2. Place the meat into you bake pan, and pour on the olive oil.
  3. Massage the olive oil in, and sprinkle on the seasoning salt and black pepper.
  4. Pat on 1 tbsp of the brown sugar on to the meat.
  5. Add the onion and red bell peppers into the bake pan, then cover.
  6. Place the meat into a preheated oven on 350 for 40-45 minutes.
  7. Remove the meat from the oven.
  8. Shred the meat using a fork or other utensil.
  9. Be sure to not toss out the broth. Use the broth from the meat to keep it moist!
  10. Add the remaining brown sugar, and the bbq sauce along with the meat.
  11. Make sure everything is well incorporated.
  12. Place the meat back into the oven, still on 350, for another 25-30 minutes.
  13. Enjoy the pulled pork by itself or on bread!
